It's not the 4th Thursday in November
Neither is it the 2nd Monday in October
It's not the end of a successful Harvest season
And neither is it a church-designated 'Thanksgiving' day
There's really nothing special about this day
Except the fact that I want to give thanks!
To God, my Father
For His love, protection and understanding
For watching over me and mine
For promises kept
For dreams that have been attained
And the ability to dream of many more yet to come!
So in case I don't say it often enough
I just wanted to say 'THANK YOU' Father,
(I figured I'd better get my Thanks in
before the flood of gratitude at Thanksgiving!)
